Is it permissible to lower the selling price of the "Qur'an" in markets?

If the intention behind facilitating the purchase of Qur'ans is to make them easy for people and accessible to everyone, then there is no harm in that. Rather, there is a great reward in it if it is done seeking the Countenance of Allah the Almighty. This does not diminish the value of the Qur'ans, but rather aims to make them available to the largest possible number of Muslims.
