Should one complete the prayer or interrupt it and remove the cat if a cat interrupts the prayer?

The passage of a woman, a donkey, or a dog invalidates the prayer, according to the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "The prayer is invalidated by [the passing of] a woman, a donkey, and a dog, and this is averted by something like the back of a saddle." And the black dog is a devil. This ruling applies if these things pass in front of a praying person who does not have a sutrah (an object placed in front of a praying person to mark the boundary of their prayer area). However, if one has a sutrah and these things pass behind it, the prayer is not invalidated. This ruling is specific to the Imam and the individual praying alone. As for the ma'mum (follower in congregational prayer), the sutrah of his Imam serves as a sutrah for him. A cat does not invalidate the prayer due to the absence of any evidence to that effect; it is pure, and therefore, its drinking from a vessel does not contaminate it. The praying person should strive to prevent anything from passing in front of them.
