When is a man not considered a seducer of a married woman if she desired divorce before knowing him?

"Takhmib" is the act of corrupting a wife against her husband, and it is reprehensible in Islamic law, whether or not the instigator marries her after her divorce. It falls under the threats mentioned in the Sunnah (definition). Jurists have considered the corruption of a wife a grave sin. The Malikis are of the view that a woman who has been incited against her husband is permanently forbidden to the one who corrupted her against her husband, as a deterrent to his intention. Her previous desire for divorce does not prevent "takhmib" from occurring by inciting her to separation. Efforts should be made to reconcile and remove the causes of discord between the spouses.
