Does the Hadith of Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him: "I was a man who experienced excessive pre-seminal fluid discharge (madhy), and I was ashamed to ask the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, due to the presence of his daughter [as my wife]. So I commanded al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad to ask him, and he (the Prophet) said: 'He should wash his private parts and perform ablution (wudu),'" indicate that a man's frequent intercourse with his wife, or his foreplay with her, or looking at her with desire is not considered blameworthy, or indicative of love for worldly life and inclination towards it, and consequently, that such a man is not considered lustful or weak in faith?

Frequent fondling and intercourse with one's wife are neither blameworthy nor considered a leaning towards worldly matters or engagement in falsehood. Rather, they are among what is righteous (min al-haqq), based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Everything with which a Muslim man amuses himself is vain, except for his shooting with his bow, his training of his horse, and his fondling of his wife, for these are among what is righteous." This act is not considered vain amusement; rather, it entails complete reward.
