Does a divorce issued by the husband in a state of extreme anger, and it was the first time, take effect, and what is the legal ruling resulting from it?

A husband may take back his wife whom he has divorced with a revocable divorce (ṭalāq rajʿī) before her waiting period (iddah (definition)) ends, based on the Almighty's saying: "And their husbands have a greater right to take them back in that [period] if they wish for reconciliation." Reconciliation or a pledge not to divorce again is not required, nor is the husband obligated by a Shariah commitment. Reinstatement (rajʿah) does not require a guardian, or a dowry, or the woman's consent, or her knowledge, by the consensus of the ulama’.
