Does an imagined divorce oath, which its pronouncer did not utter, take effect in reality?

If a marriage contract is concluded with a girl, but consummation has not occurred, divorce takes effect for her just as it would for one with whom consummation has occurred. If the divorcer did not pronounce the divorce but merely thought it to himself, it is not binding on him. However, if he pronounced it, and the divorce occurred, then it is an irrevocable divorce, and she cannot be taken back except with a new contract.
