Divorce does not occur through doubt in its utterance or in the fulfillment of the condition it was made dependent upon, because the default state is the continuation of the marriage (). Al-Majd Ibn Taymiyyah said: "If one doubts in the divorce, or in its condition, they should build upon the certainty of the marriage." And Al-Ruhaibani said: "Divorce is not binding due to doubt in it, or doubt in what the divorce was made contingent upon."
