Does the wife deserve financial compensation from her husband who concealed his previous marriage from her, then divorced her after she discovered that?

Firstly: The husband is not obliged to inform his ex-wife that he has remarried unless she asks him and wishes to know.

Secondly: It is not permissible for a woman to request a divorce except due to ill-treatment or harm. The fact that her husband was previously married does not justify a request for divorce. She must repent and retract that.

Thirdly: If a divorce occurs, the wife is entitled to the deferred Mahr (if any), and maintenance during the waiting period (iddah (definition)) if the divorce is revocable. She is not entitled to compensation for what she perceives as deception.
