The answer

The pillars of the marriage contract are offer and acceptance, and the consent of the guardian. If the contract is concluded in the presence and with the consent of the woman's guardian, the woman becomes the man's wife, and several legal implications arise, including: the permissibility for each spouse to enjoy the other, the obligation of the mahr (dowry), the obligation of (financial support) after consummation, the establishment of the children's lineage, inheritance, and the prohibition of marriage due to affinity. It is permissible for the spouses to enjoy each other immediately upon the contract, but it is preferable for the guardian to emphasize caution regarding seclusion and intercourse before consummation to avoid potential harms. The husband must also consider societal views and take into account the negative consequences that may result from leniency before the wedding.
