Is it permissible for a girl whose father forced her into a marriage and who wishes to divorce him due to his ill-treatment, to marry herself off or for her brother to be her guardian, especially since her father is hasty in his decisions, disregards the husband's religiosity, and prevents her from wearing the hijab?

The basic principle is that a previously married woman (thayyib) cannot be forced into marriage. If she is married without her permission, but then consents to the marriage, the marriage is valid. The husband must treat his wife kindly and not harm her. She has the right to seek a divorce if the harm is repeated. A woman is not permitted to marry herself without a guardian (wali). If the father refuses to marry her to a suitable man, her brother may undertake her marriage contract. It is not permissible for a woman to obey her father if he forbids her from wearing the hijab (definition), because there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator.
