Is it permissible for the wife to be analyzed (made lawful) for her husband after the second divorce, despite their refusal of this, and is it permissible for the wife to live with her children in their father's house if she is safe from temptation, knowing that she is over fifty years old and the husband is about sixty years old and married to another woman?

If a man divorces his wife with the second [irrevocable] divorce, he may take her back as long as she is within her waiting period (iddah (definition)). It is permissible for him to marry her after her iddah ends with a new contract and a new mahr (dowry). However, the practice of a woman being analyzed (i.e., marrying another man briefly) after her divorce is among the forbidden stratagems.
