The answer

If the marriage contract is concluded with the mutual consent of both parties, in the presence of the woman's guardian and witnesses, then it is a valid marriage, even if the consummation is delayed. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, contracted marriage with Aisha and consummated it three years later. It is preferable for the husband to strive to convince his family of the marriage to avoid disputes and conflicts. It must be noted that it is not permissible to establish a relationship with the suitor because he is a stranger to his fiancée before the marriage contract is concluded.
