Is the fiancé legally obligated to cover all of his fiancée's expenses after the marriage contract, such as university fees and other costs?

Alimony is not incumbent upon the husband merely upon the conclusion of the marriage contract, but rather after the wife enables him to consummate the marriage. This is because the wife's alimony is only obligatory when the husband is enabled to enjoy conjugal relations, and this is the view of the majority of jurists. Similarly, the husband is not obligated to pay for the wife's university tuition unless she stipulated that in the contract, based on the hadith (definition): "Indeed, the most worthy of conditions to be fulfilled are those by which you make intimate relations lawful."
