To what extent is an oath by divorce upon the wife not to go to a certain place valid, then retracting this oath and allowing her to go?

If a man swears by divorce that his wife will not go to a certain place, he breaks his oath if she goes, and the divorce takes effect even if he gave her permission. He can take her back if this was the first or second divorce and before her waiting period (iddah (definition)) expires. However, if it was the third divorce, she is not lawful for him until she marries another man willingly and he divorces her after consummating the marriage. It must be noted that swearing by divorce is among the oaths of the wicked and should not be resorted to again.
