The answer

If a man secludes himself with his wife in a proper seclusion after the marriage contract, she is entitled to the full mahr according to the majority of scholars. If the wife offers herself to the husband but he does not consummate the marriage, she is entitled to financial support (). If the husband abstains from providing support or is in financial difficulty, the wife may refer the matter to the court and request annulment, and this is what is recommended.
