What is the ruling on maintaining prayers and adhkar while continuing to converse with a girl over the phone with the intention of marriage, and waiting until it becomes possible to propose to her despite the geographical distance between them?

Marriage is the best option for those in love, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is nothing like marriage for two who love one another." It is advisable to strive to marry the girl with ease regarding the dowry, and to increase in supplication. If marriage is facilitated, then all praise is due to Allah; otherwise, the relationship must be immediately cut off and forgotten, and one should not continue to communicate with her under the pretext of reminding her of remembrances and modesty; for that may be a ploy of Satan to cause one to fall into what displeases Allah.
