Is it incumbent upon a young man afflicted with atrophy of the reproductive organs, who fears being unable to satisfy his wife, to undergo infertility tests before marriage, or should he put his trust in Allah and get married, despite his fear of falling into the unlawful if he does not marry?

We ask Allah to heal you, relieve your distress, and bless you with righteous offspring. Sexual impotence or infertility do not legally prevent marriage. It is commendable to inform the woman of your condition before marriage; in fact, it is obligatory if the sexual impotence is such that it predominantly prevents you from fulfilling her marital rights (iffaf). Therefore, there is no sin upon you in getting married, provided you inform the woman you intend to marry if you are unable to engage in intercourse. As for infertility, there are two opinions regarding the obligation of informing or not informing.
