Disputed matters between spouses should be referred to the شرعي () court. From a general شرعي (Sharia) ruling perspective, if the husband uses his wife's furniture without her consent, he is an oppressor. If the husband does not spend on his wife for a period, and she is not disobedient (nashiz), then she has the right to demand that maintenance, as it is a debt upon him that does not lapse.
