Personal earnings obtained by using equipment or machinery owned by the employer, or by employing animals for profit-generating work, are forbidden, a breach of trust, and a betrayal of the employer. The husband must be advised that such earnings are unlawful. If he repents, that is the desired outcome. Otherwise, the wife and children are entitled to maintenance from his wealth according to their needs, and the sin rests solely upon him.
