Is a woman who caused an accident that led to her mother's death during a heated argument obligated to pay blood money, or to fast for two consecutive months? And can the Ramadan fast be counted as part of them? And is she sinful, even though the accident was a divine decree?

First: The questioner must repent for what she did towards her mother, and the incident should be a lesson for anyone who mistreats their parents.

Second: It is recommended to be patient and content with Allah's decree and destiny, and to avoid despair and suicide, which is considered a major sin.

Third: The incident entails rulings of "accidental killing," which include:

1. Fasting for two consecutive months. It is permissible to break the continuity for legitimate excuses such as menstruation, illness, and travel, and the days missed must be made up immediately after the two months end. The month of Ramadan (definition) does not break the continuity if it falls within these two months.

2. Paying the blood money (one hundred camels) from the questioner's 'aqilah (male relatives responsible for paying blood money) to her mother's heirs. If no one pays, the blood money must be paid from her own money.

3. The questioner does not inherit from her mother (neither estate nor blood money) because a killer does not inherit from the one he killed.

In conclusion, it is recommended to be patient and pray for the deceased mother, adhere to religion, treat the husband kindly, and avoid blaming his family.
