The answer

If one is able to fast and take medication at pre-dawn meal () and after breaking the fast (), then fasting is obligatory upon them. If they are unable to do so, they are permitted to break their fast, and they must make up for the missed days whenever they are able. However, if a trustworthy doctor determines that their illness is incurable, then they must feed a poor person for each day missed. The amount for this is approximately 750 grams of rice or its equivalent.
