The wife must make up the ten missed days after . She also has to offer expiation by feeding one poor person for each day if she delayed making up the fast while she was able to do so. However, if she was unable to make up the fast due to successive legitimate excuses (such as illness, pregnancy, or breastfeeding), then she is only required to make up the fast.
