Does one attain the reward of Qiyam (standing in prayer) on Laylat al-Qadr by praying Isha and Fajr in congregation, without Taraweeh, based on the Hadith: "Whoever prays Isha in congregation, it is as if he stood in prayer for half the night. And whoever prays Fajr in congregation, it is as if he stood in prayer for the entire night"?

The 'standing' (worshipping) of Laylat al-Qadr is one of the best deeds and the most hopeful for the forgiveness of sins. Its virtue is attained by whoever prays 'Isha and Fajr in congregation, according to many scholars, including Al-Shafi'i, based on authentic hadiths, among them: "Whoever prays 'Isha in congregation is as if he has stood (in prayer) for half the night, and whoever prays Fajr in congregation is as if he has prayed the entire night." Nevertheless, the reward of one who performs a small part of it is not equal to that of one who strives in obedience and enlivens the entire night or most of it, following the example of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
