If a husband fondles his wife during the daytime in and a fluid is discharged from her, then if it is madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), her fast is not invalidated, according to the preponderant opinion. If it is maniy (seminal fluid), her fast is invalidated, and only qadaa' (making up the missed day) is required. If there is doubt about the type of fluid discharged, qadaa' is not obligatory, as the default is the validity of the fast.
