What is the wisdom behind the Prophet (PBUH) describing fasting in winter as "the cool bounty"?

The hadith (definition): "Fasting in winter is the cool bounty" was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani. Its meaning is that a person who fasts in winter attains the reward of fasting without great difficulty, likening it to the bounty a mujahid obtains without toil or hardship. Fasting in winter is not accompanied by severe thirst or prolonged hunger, as the short day and cool weather reduce the hardship, making the reward great with minimal effort.
