Does swallowing saliva after tasting toothpaste invalidate the fast?

If the taste of the toothpaste reaches the throat and one intentionally swallows their saliva, the fast is invalidated and a make-up day is required. However, if it reaches the throat unintentionally, the fast remains valid. It is preferable for a fasting person to avoid using toothpaste during the day in Ramadan (definition), for fear that its taste might unintentionally reach the stomach due to its strong penetrating nature. One should use it at night instead.
