The answer

A pregnant woman, if she fears for herself, or her fetus, or both, may break her fast and must make up the missed days. However, if she fears only for the fetus, she must make up the missed days and feed one poor person one mudd for each day. She is not permitted to break her fast if the hardship of fasting does not reach the extent of fear for the mother or the fetus.
