How does a cousin atone for two days she was forced to miss in Ramadan, knowing that she is ill but ready to fast?

If a husband compels his wife to break her fast during Ramadan (definition) with a compulsion that is legally recognized [by Sharia (definition)], then she is not required to offer expiation (kaffarah (definition)). If the compulsion is not legally recognized, and the wife breaks her fast by means other than sexual intercourse, then she is only required to make up the fast (qadaa'), according to the majority of scholars. Similarly, if she breaks her fast through sexual intercourse, she is only required to make up the fast.
