What is the ruling regarding the days I missed fasting in Ramadan due to ignorance of reaching puberty and the obligation to fast?

If a girl sees menstrual blood after reaching puberty and then breaks her fast in Ramadan (definition) out of ignorance, she is only required to make up the days she missed, and she is not obliged to offer expiation according to the majority of scholars, except for breaking the fast by intercourse. However, if what she saw was merely a spot and not menstrual blood that continues for a day and a night (which is the minimum duration of menstruation), then she is not considered to have reached puberty, and her breaking the fast before puberty does not obligate her to anything.
