The answer

Allah created people and granted them the capacity for good and evil, inspiring them with piety and immorality, and clarifying the path of each to them. Whoever seeks help from Allah and follows faith and piety will attain a good life in this world and Paradise in the Hereafter. As for whoever surrenders to his whims, he will face the consequences of his choice: "And [by] the soul and [by] Him who fashioned it And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness He has succeeded who purifies it And he has failed who corrupts it," and "Indeed, We guided him to the way, whether grateful or ungrateful." Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. Therefore, one must compel oneself to worship Allah, seek the company of righteous people, and supplicate, and the Muslim must know that Allah’s choice for him is better than his choice for himself.
