How should a man's attire be in any country or society, Islamic or non-Islamic, in accordance with what was mentioned for women in the Quran?

Rulings on Men's Attire:

1. The basic ruling on clothing is permissibility: Everything worn is permissible unless there is a text explicitly prohibiting it, such as silk and the hides of dead animals before tanning. As for wool, hair, and fur, they are pure and permissible.

2. Prohibition of wearing transparent clothing: It is not permissible to wear transparent clothing that does not cover the 'awrah.

3. Prohibition of imitating disbelievers: It is forbidden to imitate people of polytheism and disbelief in their clothing.

4. Prohibition of men imitating women: It is forbidden for men to imitate women in their clothing.

5. Starting with the right when dressing: It is from the Sunnah (definition) to start with the right when putting on clothes, and with the left when taking them off, and to say: "Bismillah (In the Name of Allah)."

6. Supplication when wearing new clothes: It is sunnah for one who wears new clothes to thank Allah and supplicate.

7. Cleanliness of clothes: It is sunnah to take care of the cleanliness of clothes without arrogance or extravagance.

8. Desirability of wearing white: It is desirable to wear white clothing.

9. Prohibition of Isbal: It is forbidden for a Muslim to practice isbal (letting clothes hang below the ankles) in all garments. The limit for garments is to the ankles.

10. Prohibition of libas ash-shuhrah: It is forbidden to wear libas ash-shuhrah (clothing of fame/vanity) which is distinctive and worn by the person to attract attention and gain notoriety.
