Is it Sunnah to wear specific clothes? Please mention that with evidence.

The jurists have agreed upon the desirability of wearing white clothes, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Wear white clothes, for they are among your best garments, and shroud your dead in them." Green is also desirable, as it is the attire of the people of Paradise, and it was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear two green cloaks, and green was his favorite color.

It is also desirable to wear al-hibara (a striped Yemeni cloth), as Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that al-hibara was the most beloved garment to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The qamis (tunic/shirt) was also his most beloved garment because it provided more coverage.

It is permissible to wear any clothes one wishes, as long as there is no prohibition against them. The following are forbidden:

1. What the Sharia explicitly prohibits, such as silk for men, and clothes with images of animate beings. 2. What is transparent or reveals the body, such as thin or tight clothing. 3. A man wearing clothes that make him resemble women, and vice versa. 4. Wearing clothes that make one resemble disbelievers. 5. Wearing clothing of fame (clothing worn for ostentation).

Other than that, the default ruling is permissibility, except for what has been prohibited out of dislike, such as pure red.
