Is the sin of a woman who wears the niqab amplified compared to the sin of others if she makes a mistake?

Scholars have differed regarding the obligation for a woman to cover her face in front of non-mahram (definition) men. If a woman is harmed by wearing the niqab, she is permitted to remove it, but she should limit her outings to what is necessary. Covering the face offers protection and modesty and emulates the Mothers of the Believers. It is not true that the sin of a woman who wears the niqab is multiplied, or that one who fears falling into sins should abandon the niqab. The lack of prevalence of the niqab in a certain environment is not a justification for abandoning it; rather, it calls for adherence to it. A Muslim woman must be proud of her religion and not pay attention to the whispers of Satan. Instead, she should hasten to good deeds and strive to obey Allah.
