What are the suspended narrations (hadiths), and which of them are sound (sahih) in Bukhari and Muslim?

A Mu'allaq (suspended) Hadith (definition) is one from the beginning of whose isnad (definition) (chain of narration) one or more narrators have been omitted. Sometimes the entire isnad may be omitted. Describing it as mu'allaq does not necessarily mean it is weak; rather, it is often for the sake of brevity if it is connected (mawsul) elsewhere. To judge it, one must search for its connected isnads. If no isnad for it is found, the default is that it is weak. However, if a connected isnad is found, it is judged based on the rules of Hadith criticism.

The mu'allaqat in Sahih (definition) al-Bukhari that are narrated with a definitive (jazm) صيغة (formulation) are considered sahih (authentic) or hasan (definition) (good), with the exception of one hadith. As for what he narrated with a non-definitive (tamrid) صيغة, it could be sahih, hasan, or slightly weak. As for Sahih Muslim, after the introduction, there is no mu'allaq hadith that he did not connect through another route, except for one hadith.
