What is the ruling on eating from fast-food restaurants in China that import meat from Australia?

There are three conditions for consuming meat imported from abroad: the slaughterer must be Muslim or from the People of the Book, the slaughter must not have been consecrated to other than Allah, and the slaughter must be performed according to Islamic law. If it is highly probable that the slaughterers are neither Muslim nor from the People of the Book, then the meat imported from them is considered carrion, unless it is known for certain that it was slaughtered according to Islamic law. It is advisable to inquire with restaurant owners about the sources of their meat. The word of a non-believer is accepted in transactions if it indicates that the meat was purchased from one of the People of the Book or a Muslim.
