What is the ruling on studying under immodestly dressed female teachers, and what is the effect of that on the weakness of the heart and lack of humility [khushu'], and what is the ruling on taking online educational courses offered by an immodestly dressed non-Muslim woman, knowing the importance of that for academic achievement?
Your education at the hands of unveiled and immodestly dressed female teachers is a gateway to widespread temptation and evil. The preservation of religion takes precedence over all worldly interests. Indeed, religion is one of the five necessities upon which all faiths have agreed. If you find a way to study under male teachers, then do so. Otherwise, it is obligatory to leave your studies at this school and search for another, for the loss of religious benefit is greater than the loss of worldly benefit. Studying a course online taught by a woman, with only her voice and without fear of temptation, is permissible. However, if it involves seeing her, then it is not permissible.
