Which is better: for a young man to bring his fiancée to live with him in a non-Islamic country where she suffers from people's stares because she wears the hijab, or for each of them to remain in a different country until he finishes his studies?

We advise taking the wife to the foreign country of study if possible, because her presence helps in preserving one's chastity, lowering one's gaze, and dedicating oneself to seeking knowledge in a country where temptations abound, with the obligation to return immediately upon completion of studies. One should also fear Allah and strive in studies. The wife must fully adhere to the Islamic hijab (definition) and be proud of it, and not be affected by the widespread psychological defeat in Western countries that makes a Muslim ashamed to openly practice his religion. Her adherence to her hijab may be a reason for guiding women in those countries.
