The answer

According to the majority of scholars, intoxicants are ritually impure in their essence. If a permissible animal consumes intoxicants and becomes intoxicated, it does not thereby become jallalah; for a jallalah is an animal whose primary diet is impure substances. This does not apply to an animal that drinks intoxicants only once, as drinking it does not make the majority of its diet impure substances.
