Najasah

Najasah is ritual impurity attached to a specific substance, such as certain bodily fluids, rather than to a person's overall state. It must be physically removed before prayer, from the body, clothing, or place of prayer. It differs from hadath, the impurity wudu or ghusl removes from a person.
