Sabr

Sabr is patience: steadfastness in hardship, temptation, or the demands of obedience, without complaint that crosses into objecting to God's decree. The Qur'an describes it throughout as paired with reward beyond measure. It is often discussed alongside tawakkul, reliance on God.
