Is it permissible to apply gel or creams to the hair when in a state of Ihram for performing Umrah rituals? And is it permissible for a traveler by plane to enter into a state of Ihram from his home in the city of Khobar?

According to some scholars, it is permissible for a pilgrim in ihram (definition) to apply dyes and creams to the hair, provided they are free of perfume. However, it is more cautious to avoid them. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, matted his head with honey before entering ihram. Your ihram from your home is permissible according to the majority of scholars, contrary to the opinion of the Zahiris. However, it is preferable to delay ihram until the Miqat (definition). When the plane aligns with the Miqat, you should enter ihram for the ritual.
