It is recommended to touch the Yemeni Corner with the right hand, then the left, then with something held in the right hand, then with something held in the left hand. Touching involves merely placing the hand on it. Scholars have differed on whether to kiss the hand after touching or to kiss the corner itself, but most scholars are of the opinion that kissing it is not legislated.
