Is it permissible to perform Hajj with money obtained as a gift from a Jew?

It is permissible to perform Hajj with a gift from a disbeliever, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, accepted gifts from polytheists. There is no harm in accepting a gift from a disbeliever for acts of obedience and closeness to God, just as it is permissible for a disbeliever to build a mosque under certain conditions. It is stipulated that the gift must not involve bribery, nor should it lead to loving or befriending the disbeliever, or compromising the rulings of Islamic law. However, Hajj is not obligatory with this gift, and the majority of scholars do not consider a person capable (mustati'a) of performing Hajj based on such a gift.
