What is the ruling regarding a woman who performed Hajj while pregnant, and then experienced severe bleeding, which prevented her from performing the circumambulation of Ifadah (Tawaf al-Ifadah) due to doctors' instructions? Is it permissible for her to offer a financial fidyah or a sacrifice in Egypt? And what is the ruling regarding the circumambulation of Farewell (Tawaf al-Wada')?

The Ifadah circumambulation (Tawaf (definition) al-Ifadah) is a pillar of Hajj, and the ritual is not complete without it. If a woman is able to perform the circumambulation, even if carried or riding, she is obligated to do so. If she is unable, she remains in her state of ihram (definition) after the first partial release (tahallul al-awwal), and her husband should not approach her until she performs the circumambulation. There is no time limit for the end of the Ifadah circumambulation. As for the Farewell circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada'), it is not obligatory for her because she has not completed her Hajj rituals. If she travels before performing the Ifadah circumambulation, she remains in her state of ihram and waits for recovery to return and perform the circumambulation and the Sa'y, if the latter is obligatory.
