However, if she intended Umrah and passed the while menstruating, intending to delay her Ihram until she became pure, then she must slaughter a sacrifice (dam) to be distributed among the poor of the , because ritual purity is not a condition for Ihram, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, set the Mawaqit "for whoever intends Hajj and Umrah."
