What should a young man do who does not have money to offer a sacrifice (dam) if he misses one of the pillars of Hajj or Umrah?

Hajj has pillars, duties, and supererogatory acts (Sunan). Whoever abandons a pillar has not completed his ritual, and he does not exit the state of ihram (definition) until he performs it. Whoever abandons a duty must offer a sacrifice (hady); it is obligatory due to a deficiency in Hajj or Umrah (definition). If he is unable to offer the hady, he fasts three days during Hajj and seven days when he returns to his family. Whoever abandons a supererogatory act is not required to do anything.
