What type of ritual (Nusuk) is suitable for Hajj (Ifraad, Tamattu’, or Qiran) for someone who performed Umrah in Shawwal, then returned to his country, and wishes to perform Hajj from Jeddah on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah?

If you return to your country after performing 'Umrah (definition), your 'Umrah is not considered an 'Umrah of Tamattu' (enjoyment), because one of the conditions for Tamattu' is that the person performing it does not return to their country between Hajj and 'Umrah, even if they enter into ihram (definition) for it after sunset on the last day of Ramadan (definition). Scholars have differed on this issue, and Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen chose the opinion that Tamattu' is not interrupted by travel unless one travels back to their own country.

As long as you will arrive in Makkah on the ninth day, you can enter into ihram as a Qarin (intending both Hajj and 'Umrah together, and a sacrifice is required of you), or as a Mufrid (intending Hajj only, and no sacrifice is required of you). You cannot enter into ihram as a Mutamatti' because the time for Tamattu' has passed with the onset of Hajj. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen says that Tamattu' must be before the time of Hajj, so if you arrive in Makkah on the eighth day or later, you have the options of Ifrad (definition) or Qiran (definition), but Tamattu' has been missed.
