The answer

Unlawful mixing between men and women invites temptation (fitna) and causes corruption. If one is compelled to attend mixed-gender education, they must observe the guidelines. If this necessitates travel, it must be in the company of a husband or a (unmarriageable kin). Covering the face is obligatory, and it is not permissible to uncover it for study except in cases of extreme necessity. It is not permissible to join an institute where there is music, except in cases of extreme necessity. The presence of scantily clad girls does not prevent joining the institute, while being careful not to be influenced by them and striving to influence them [for the better].
