Is it permissible for a group of young men (18-25 years old) to travel with teenage girls (17-20 years old) on a journey lasting several hours to attend an Islamic camp, with one of the young men acting as a supervisor instead of a parent, knowing that the young men will sit at the front of the bus and the girls at the back, and that not traveling without a supervisor (a parent) will lead to the cancellation of the trip and deprive them of its benefits?

A woman is not permitted to travel except with a mahram (definition), due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "A woman shall not travel except with a mahram." Some scholars have made an exception for a woman's travel for the obligatory Hajj with a trustworthy company. However, the travel of young women to this camp is neither Hajj nor obligatory, so it is not permissible for them to travel without a mahram. If one of the fathers is with them, he is a mahram only for his own daughter and not for the other girls.
