The majority of scholars hold that a woman's awrah (private parts that must be covered) in front of other women is the area between the navel and the knee. Therefore, there is no harm in wearing clothes that show the legs, chest, or shoulders, or a skirt that covers above the knee, even if it is not loose-fitting. However, if there are non-mahram (definition) men present, a woman must cover her entire body.
